The Medusa Festival in Cullera, Spain, kicked off its 11th edition this August with an expanded footprint and a record-breaking attendance expected to surpass 180,000 people across five days.
What sets Medusa apart is its genre diversity:
- Mainstage: EDM heavyweights and festival anthems
- Techno & Hard Techno stage: Darker, pounding sets from global names
- Hardstyle & Hardcore stage: Catering to fans of extreme BPMs
- Urban music zone: Trap, reggaeton, and crossover acts
This year’s lineup included artists like Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Amelie Lens, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Reinier Zonneveld.
Organizers leaned heavily on immersive stage design, with 3D mapping and futuristic visuals creating a world-building effect around the festival grounds. Medusa has been steadily climbing the global rankings, positioning itself as Europe’s answer to Tomorrowland but with a uniquely Spanish flavor.
“Our goal has always been to unite all corners of electronic music under one umbrella,” said Medusa co-founder Miguel Carrasco. “Dance music is global, and Medusa reflects that diversity.”
