Madrid, Spain – September 22, 2025
This past weekend, Blackworks celebrated its 6th anniversary with two unforgettable nights at the IFEMA Madrid venue, delivering what many are calling the most powerful hard techno event the city has ever seen.
On September 19 and 20, thousands of ravers from across Spain — and a significant crowd from abroad — gathered for what has become a historic moment in the European underground scene. IFEMA was completely transformed into a cathedral of hard techno, with an atmosphere that blended chaos, intensity, and pure rave energy.
Founded in 2019, Blackworks has quickly risen to the top of the hard techno movement. With this anniversary, the brand proved once again why it is one of the most respected and influential collectives in the global techno community.
Next-Level Sound Design
One of the standout aspects of the event was its sound quality, which set a new benchmark for electronic music events in IFEMA.
The production team deployed Clair Brothers speaker arrays, including powerful subwoofers that shook every corner of the venue. Careful placement of delays ensured seamless coverage across the entire space, creating an immersive experience for ravers.
The result? Crystal-clear highs, deep rumbling lows, and bone-shaking kicks that matched the intensity of the music. It was a sonic experience unlike anything IFEMA had ever hosted, cementing Blackworks’ reputation for attention to detail and top-tier production.
Friday, September 19: Fantasm All Night Long
The first night opened at 10:00 PM with SZG, a Brazilian DJ based in Berlin, delivering a perfect warm-up filled with driving rhythms and hypnotic grooves. The stage featured stunning LED visuals curated by Telepixel, adding a visual narrative to the pounding beats.
But the night truly belonged to Fantasm, who made his Spanish debut with an all-night-long set. From midnight until sunrise, Fantasm unleashed six relentless hours of hard techno and industrial madness.
Tracks like “Venom,” “You Like This Btch,” and “Burn the Floor” became rallying cries for the crowd. The audience stayed locked in until the very end, fists in the air, completely immersed in the raw, unfiltered energy that has become synonymous with Blackworks events.
By the time the sun rose, it was clear: Night one was only the beginning.
Saturday, September 20: A Hard Techno Marathon
The second night raised the stakes even higher, offering a non-stop marathon of international and local talent.
After Cloudy was forced to cancel due to flight issues, the evening opened with KTK and Negitiv, who set the tone with powerful opening sets.
Then came KUKO, one of Spain’s fastest-rising stars. His set fused aggressive basslines with emotional vocal elements, showcasing tracks from his latest EP “Die Tonight.” Hearing them on a massive festival sound system confirmed KUKO’s place as one of the country’s most promising techno artists.
Blackworks Family B2B Magic
At 1:00 AM, Dexphase B2B Skryption took over the decks. As the founder and resident DJ of Blackworks, Dexphase brought years of experience, while Skryption, the label manager and rising talent, matched his energy.
Their back-to-back set was a true family moment, blending Blackworks classics with cutting-edge releases. The crowd’s response was electric, proving once again why these two are central to the Blackworks legacy.
International Powerhouses: BLK. B2B Shlømo
One of the most anticipated moments of the weekend came when BLK. and Shlømo joined forces.
BLK., one of the fastest-rising names in the industrial techno scene, and Shlømo, a versatile French artist and owner of Taapion Records, delivered a high-octane performance filled with relentless kicks and pounding rhythms. Their chemistry behind the decks pushed the crowd into a state of absolute euphoria.
Darkness Takes Over: Carv B2B Vendex
At 3:40 AM, Carv and Vendex took the stage for one of the darkest sets of the night.
Vendex, known for his dark, infernal techno concept, combined forces with Carv, whose aggressive style brought an edge of chaos. Together, they created a sonic descent into darkness, with relentless speed and crushing beats that left the audience breathless.
A Fierce Closing: DYEN
The closing set fell to DYEN, who capped off the night with a burst of energy. His hour-long set blended gabber, hardcore, and reimagined ’90s classics played at more than 160 BPM.
The crowd gave every last ounce of energy, jumping and screaming as the festival reached its explosive conclusion.
A Weekend to Remember
Two nights. Sixteen hours of pure hard techno. Thousands of ravers united by a shared passion for the underground.
Blackworks’ 6th anniversary was more than just an event — it was a cultural milestone, demonstrating how far the brand has come since its humble beginnings in 2019.
With world-class production, an unbeatable lineup, and a crowd that gave everything they had, this edition will go down as one of the most legendary in Madrid’s electronic music history.
Fans won’t have to wait long for the next big chapter: Blackworks will return to IFEMA on March 27 and 28, 2026, promising even bigger surprises and even more unforgettable moments.
